EXTERNAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, or simply X, will always have that “don’t-mess-with-me” aura that others might find just too darn intimidating. After all, this committee knows what they’ve got and they’re not afraid to show it.

This committee has got JMA’s crème de la crème. In here you will find the liveliest effective marketers, the fieriest passionate workers and the finest groundbreaking achievers. Only in this will you experience the fine merits of marketing, public relations, social skills and event management all rolled into one. It is no wonder that many from this committee become leaders of special project managements such as event competitions and the prestigious Adhoc.

Moreover, UP JMA would not stand without this team. X is the pulse. X is the core. X is the essence. Externals handle the most important function of JMA and that’s marketing. They never fail to uphold the xXx value: xecute, xceed, xcemplify to bring the culture of xcellence.

What’s UP JMA without the M which stands for Marketing? Applaud the team who handles the unique selling proposition of our organization. Organizers of great academic seminars (Members’ Marketing Event and Marketing Summit), this team will make sure that you are equipped with the skills to deliver the best event. Ready to serve the needs of UP JMA: they handle the online database, marketing contacts, the Junior Marketing Kit and lots more. This team is serious business.

TEAM CAMPUS RELATIONS

This team creates and maintains profitable relationships with other organizations within the university through socially-relevant events. Proud organizers of Orgboost, Alay sa Manggagawa and so many more, this team will show you the necessary skills needed to expand your network may it be with the President, VP’s, Student Councils, Frats, Soros or even with the future leaders of this country. Watch out this sem for two rockin’ events that will really brand JMA not just a party org but a socially-relevant organization too.

TEAM EXTERNAL PROMOTIONS

This team works behind the scenes of the UP JMA Memcard. With over 70+ big-time partner establishments, this team makes sure that each mem-card holder will be able to live a life in style. Besides this amazing memcard, they also maintain relationships with UP JMA’s alumni. This team proves that each JMA member can go far with the skills they’ve earned from UP JMA.

This team is the link between UP JMA and the outside world. Providing the best training ground for event management which allows you to hone your skills may it be in logistics, finance, pub and promo and marketing. With very successful events such as Lafapalooza, Myx Slam Jam, Jagermeister, Perya and San Mig Strong Ice Hip Hop Royale - this team will wow you with its next big event yet.
