EXTERNAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, or simply X, will always have that “don’t-mess-with-me” aura that others might find just too darn intimidating. After all, this committee knows what they’ve got and they’re not afraid to show it.
This committee has got JMA’s crème de la crème. In here you will find the liveliest effective marketers, the fieriest passionate workers and the finest groundbreaking achievers. Only in this will you experience the fine merits of marketing, public relations, social skills and event management all rolled into one. It is no wonder that many from this committee become leaders of special project managements such as event competitions and the prestigious Adhoc.
Moreover, UP JMA would not stand without this team. X is the pulse. X is the core. X is the essence. Externals handle the most important function of JMA and that’s marketing. They never fail to uphold the xXx value: xecute, xceed, xcemplify to bring the culture of xcellence.

Team Marketing
With the three-fold mission to XECUTE, XCEED and XEMPLIFY, Team Marketing, without a doubt will bring the culture of xXxcellence to JMA. With the newfound goal for the semester to foster lost ties and relationships between the JMA-ers and Marketing, TM promises to be ubiquitous in all JMA activities and emphasize its PRESSENCE. Marketing Summit and Members’ Marketing Event are the events to watch out for the semester for they’ll surely deliver marketing with a pow! Of course there are still TM Weekly Brigs and other surprises that’ll add to your Marketing punch! By the end of a semester, Team Marketing swears that you’ll be a deserving member of this premiere Marketing org, UP JMA.

Team Campus Relations
Team Campus Relations is dedicated to strengthening and building UP JMA’s relationship with all the different stakeholders in the university. With that, the team has two main projects each year, the Org Boost Marketing Seminar and Alay sa Manggagawa. Org Boost is a marketing seminar for student leaders and student organizations. Being a university-wide marketing organization, UP JMA desires to share their knowledge and love of marketing with other associations within the campus through this seminar. While, Alay sa Manggagawa is an event entirely dedicated to giving back to the maintenance staff of the university. UP JMA recognizes the importance of these individuals in the university, hence, an entire day is devoted to make sure that these persons receive what they deserve.

Team External Promotions
Team External Promotions promises to blow you away this semester. Extpro is not only going for the Quality over Quantity value this semester but Extpro is going to give you both Quality and Quantity in terms of the establishments and the discount perks in store for UP JMA’s membership card. They are the one’s who rub elbows with society’s richest and most famous to bring UP JMA a life worth celebrating. Also, this team upholds professionalism as they handle statistics of preferences and establishment usage that are to be presented to existing partners.
Moreover, this semester, External Promotions will handle the interactive online alumni directory. Alumni will not need to worry to lose all their memories to the org they love.

Team External Relations
Team External Relations represents organizations and companies located outside the university by event or product promotion. This semester, Team External Relations is proud to be part of the SAN MIGUEL STRONG ICE events. UP JMA has bested out 4 schools in an intense bidding. San Miguel Strong Ice, in turn, trusted UP JMA to handle and execute series of events for their company. So, watch out, for the prowess of Team External Relations because they’re going to give you one heck of a fun semester!
